Update your iPhone OS 4.0 Beta































It is available only for Mac OS X.

Please don't lose your patience if you are Windows user.

This is NOT a "jailbreak".

but just to avoid authenticating developer's iPhone.

The data in your iPhone will NOT be deleted even you update this firmware.

OK, let's get started firmware update.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Download this firmware and just save it in your HD.



2) First, run the Terminal, and enter commands below.
    sudo vi /etc/hosts



3) Push 'i' in your keyboard, then VI allows you in 'edit mode'



4) Add this line in last line → 127.0.0.1 albert.apple.com










5) Push ESC key to change command mode, and then enter :wq to save and quit.

6) Close the Terminal with Command + Q key

7) Run iTunes.

8) Select your iPhone and choose 'Summary' tab.

9) while pushing option(alt) key, click 'Check for Update' button.











10) choose the firmware iPhone OS 4.0 beta you've downloaded.











11) wait until finishing firmware update.
